As the Creative Director for HAI, Wilson is developing educational programs, creating photo imagery, as well as directing all national and international shows that feature HAIclassic and HAIelite fine ceramic styling irons, Tourmaline hairdryers and ionic brushes. Prior to working with Hair Art and Information Wilson was most recently an artistic consultant for L’Oreal in New York.
With more than 25 years of exploring all facets of beauty Phillip Wilson has become an industry icon. Launching his career in the trendy west end of London and training with grand masters from all over Europe, Wilson was able to interact with fashion elite, and royalty. With salons, television and star clients under his belt, he and wife Mary created Wilson Educational Productions Inc. in 1995. Providing educational leadership, creative direction, academy development and stage presence, they have worked with many prestigious clients.
Voted one of the most influential hairdressers of the past 100 years by Modern Salon magazine, he remains one of the most published editorial hairstylists in the world. Wilson is recognized for his extraordinary talent, creative passion, and boundless energy. He continues to focus on sharing his knowledge, skill and creative eye with young talent for continuous improvement of the industry.
