In the beauty industry, MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER HEMPHILL is the consummate artist,
the unparalleled technician and the master communicator. Even before graduation
from high school, this American born hair designer showed an uncommon natural
inclination towards the beauty industry. This vocation set MICHAEL HEMPHILL
apart from the very beginning. He has been a man ahead of his time: in skill,
creativity and in business.The award winning journey began for MICHAEL as a
student when he won the America`s Cup and the World Supreme Competitions.
As a professional hairstylist, Michael reclaimed the honors of the America`s Cup
and the World Supreme Competitions.
- Winning America`s Cup placed MICHAEL on the U.S.A. Hairstyling team two
times.
- He won the prestigious Salon of the Year Award.
- He was honored by American Salon Magazine with the Hairstylist of the
Year for Creative Excellence.
- He won the prestigious Salon of the Year Award for his satellite Salon
in King of Prussia, PA.
- MICHAEL was chosen North American Hairstylist of the Year.
- 2002 Delaware Small Business Person Of The Year.
National and International trade and consumer magazines continually request
MICHAEL CHRISTOPHER`s hair designs for their publications. His
reputation as a national and local television guest, a performer and educator
has taken MICHAEL throughout the United States and Europe training hairstylists
to improve their own abilities and to raise the standards of quality in their
profession. MICHAEL has worked a guest artist for Redken Corporation leaving
standing room only audiences inspired to create. MICHAEL was asked to join the
Sheseido Corporation as Artistic Director and worked closely with research and
development on new projects.
By imparting his technique and eye for the creative, MICHAEL C. HEMPHILL is
still a man ahead of his time continually challenging the limits of the beauty
profession with fresh new ideas, clear bold vision and the remarkable ability to
