Mr. Habib Ahmed - "The Initiator": The affable, a soft-spoken person, who single-handedly spearheaded fashion hairstyling in India to a new horizon, is yet instrumental in refining, redefining and revolutionizing the concept and standards of creativity and dexterity of Hair Styling and Hair Care in India. He has been honored with the prestigious `INDIAN INTERNATIONAL GOLD AWARD, 1995` and `PRIDE OF COUNTRY AWARD, 1999` for his outstanding excellence, meritorious individual achievements and distinguished services to the nation. Mr. Jawed Habib - "The Professional": Born on 26th June, the eldest son of Habib Ahmed is a down-to-earth, creative, flamboyant, vivacious, a die-hard optimist with an amazing zest for He is a leading Hairstylist of Asia with LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS setting 410 non-stop free hair styles and GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS to his credit. So far he has organized numerous Hair Shows and Workshops for brands like Godrej, L`Oreal, Organics, Salon International & Sunsilk, Self-grooming classes for Sahara Airlines and The Oberoi Group. He is presently appointed as a Brand Ambassador for `SUNSILK`.
Mr. Parvez Habib - "The Artist": Born on November 29th, the second eldest son of Habib Ahmed is reflective, creative and innovative. Loves designing "the total look" for his clients; enjoys novel color applications. This "Hair Designer" has great dreams about his country`s fashion revolution. He aspires to acquire an exalted position for India in the International fashion map and so serves for his nation by imparting virtues of this wonderful art absolutely free to the deprived and physically challenged children of the society `Amar Jyoti` who wish to pursue hairstyling for their living.
Mr. Amjad Habib - "The Visionary": Born on August 1st the youngest son of Habib Ahmed is sensitive, hilarious with an eager, young mind that is full of aspirations and dreams. He is renowned for his technical excellence and East-West fusion styling. He has a passion for teaching hairstyling and so is frequently on move across India and abroad to reform the skills of hairstyling by providing scientific and systematic training to the hairstylists and bring professional hairstyling to the fore through his Educational Classrooms and Workshops. " I learn something new from each days and every client" says this enthusiastic stylist.
Ms. Shaheen Habib - Creative Director: Shaheen is the wife of much acclaimed Jawed Habib. She started out in this profession by watching the work at her husband`s salon and then gradually picking up some of the work. Soon she was hooked. She went to New York to get herself a certificate in Hair Styling and Beauty. Here she learnt the finer aspects of hair styling from experts in the field. She came back to set up her own salon. Later she rejoined Habibs and was seen attending to clients and doing their blow dry. Now she is a Creative Director at the Habibs Hair Academy where she teaches the young and energetic budding stylists. She lives in Delhi with her husband and two children. |
