Bravo Searches For America’s Next Top Hairstylist February, 17 2007
Bravo has given a series pickup to a reality hairstyling competition tentatively called Top Hair. It’s a bold but brilliant move because watching someone get his or her hair cut is just about as explosive as falling head first off a jagged cliff.
The show will take talented hairstylists from across America and pit them against each other in a series of gruelling challenges, starting from the nail-biting basic cut to the spine-wracking full makeover, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
The winner of this perspiration-inducing competition will take home $100,000 and a host of prizes.
"Our critically acclaimed reality competition series are marked by talented contestants and highly creative challenges," said Bravo president Lauren Zalaznick. "It’s exciting to present our viewers with another group of gifted creators — in this case, stylists — to showcase their craft as well as the high-stakes drama during their competitive journey."
Bravo has yet to set a premiere date for the show.
honest with your hairstylist is
always the best approach. If
there is something that you
don't like about him/her, let
them know. They will be more
than happy to make the
adjustments and accommodate your
beauty/style needs. This will
also save you time searching for
a new one.
